Blogging is about writing. If you do not love to write, you probably won't enjoy blogging. However if you haven't tried writing, you might have an as yet hidden talent that you would enjoy. So attempt writing a couple of practice blog posts. Write about something interesting to you. If you like writing, then blogging may be for you!
Headlines are what readers tend to read first. They act like bait. If your bait is great, they will "bite" into the blog post too. On the other hand, if your headline is dull, recurring, commonplace, predictable, or just not interesting at all, your readers may decide to skip the whole thing.
Try asking viewers for feedback. Make sure to talk with them. Don't think that you already know exactly what it is that your viewers want from the blog, try asking them outright. You can do this in your comments, by developing a specific post for feedback by email, or social networks like Twitter. You could even use online communities.
Invite successful bloggers to write guest blogs for your site. This will improve the amount of quality content on your blog. Additionally, you need to receive more traffic, if they alert their regular readers of the appearance. This can be done with several people to help you create a more content rich blog.
